Selling

Our new Selling With Us fact sheet now makes it easier to understand what can be an intense and complex process for any newcomer. We aim to offer a high quality service to our clients, with our Pre Sale Valuations available to prospective vendors without obligation.

Selling Fees

Our Selling Commission is just 18%+VAT. As the vendor, you will pay a 1.5%+VAT insurance fee and a £3.60 lotting fee per listing entered into auction. You may be subject to a PAT Testing fee of £2+VAT per lot for electrical goods. This means we will keep your goods safe and includes the photography and listing of your items and allows us to sell on our two other online platforms to buyers Worldwide!

Valuation Days & House Visits

We offer free valuations every Thursday, Friday and Monday following our Tuesday & Wednesday Auctions. Just pop down to our Warrington site anytime between 10:00 and 16:00.

You can also find our Valuers every Friday & Saturday over at Northwich Radio (16A Leicester St, Northwich CW9 5LA), from 10:00 to 16:00. For larger collections/furniture items, we will ask for you to send an email across of some photographs of the items and we can get our valuers to value them for you and we can then get you booked in for a house visit.

Payments

Providing the buyer has paid for your goods, we will pay you via Direct Bank Transfer (for all statements over £5.00) approximately four weeks from the Monday following the Auction in which your items have sold. Should the amount due be less than £5.00, the monies will remain in our Warrington site for collection by the seller. You will receive an emailed statement once your payment has been processed. If you receive a negative statement you do not need to contact us, we will simply deduct the monies from your next available statement.

Unsold Items

You will receive a Post Sales Advice email on the Monday following our extended Timed Sale. This will outline which of your items have sold and which remain unsold. All unsold items in the Antiques & Collectables, Militaria and Toy & Games Sales may be entered into a second sale with the same charges as above. All unsold items in our Home & Garden Sale will be tried once, then passed to our chosen Charity. It is your responsibility as the vendor to contact us regarding all unsold goods. The Auctioneer may decide to collate some of your items together, potentially entering them into our Home & Garden Sale. Any reserves may be reduced without discussion. If we do not hear from you when your items have been in two sales and remain unsold then we will presume that they have been abandoned and they will automatically be donated to our supported charity Age UK.
