James Croston (1890 - 1893): pencil sketch with watercolour wash, a northern hall or stately home (unknown), possibly a preparatory illustration for Croston's topographical works, 42 x 25 cm. Croston was a noted topographer and author, whose 19th century works include The History of the County Palatine & Duchy of Lancaster. Minor foxing and discolouration, no visible damages. UK P&P Group 2 (£20+VAT for the first lot and £4+VAT for subsequent lots)
